#1. I’d like to learn more about this sweating finish, or from what I’ve seen on this page called fish scaling? Are there special floats to make this easier rather than using a standard magnesium float?

#3. Here’s some pictures of the most recent suspended front porch. I opted to use some junk 2×4 lumber on top of a double 2×8 center brace for easy removal. The 2×4 rim is bolted in about every 30” with 3/8”x3” bolts. Then we nailed the outside ends to the rim. There’s one nail holding each overlap together. Then we braved the double 2×8 from the floor. Easy peasy.
